THE GRAND FINALE: … Finally!.. The Day that I had been counting down is here and this marks not only the Grand Finale of Cease and Sekkle, That NAZIZI and I have Co-Hosted for the Last 3 Years but also marks my Formal Exit from Standard Group. A Name and Brand that has been part of my life for almost 10yrs.
I began at Radio Maisha Reggae with Tongola Mate, Moha Jicho Pevu (Current Nyali Mp), and Deejay Patiz [islandoz Finest]. It’s Been Quite the Journey. Beautiful Memories and Growth, A Journey I can never Regret.
Thank you to the management for the Chance and space to do what I am very passionate about. My Appreciation also goes out to Tongola Mate, Deejay Patiz, and the Roots Daughter Nazizi for being part of my Journey. I am Grateful to the Vybez Nation and to everyone who has been part of my Journey. Asanteni Sana.
Cease and Sekkle show airing from 7 to 10 pm at Vybez Radio for 3 years
Nazizi and Muzikal Sheriff have been hosting the Cease and Sekkle show airing from 7 to 10 pm at Vybez Radio for 3 years, and during that time, the show had become known for being fresh, lively, and entertaining. They have brought a fresh perspective to the Reggae radio industry, and their fans have appreciated their relatable personalities, sense of humor, and ability to connect with their audience.
Nazizi and Muzikal Sheriff are the latest personalities to leave the Station after Sheila Kwamboka Aka Kwambox left to join Radio Africa Group. Sura Common is another Radio Presenter who had also left the station earlier.
Revenues at Terrestrial Radio and Tv Stations take a significant beating as the Digital wave continues to spread.
While the reasons for their departure are not yet known, many are speculating that it may be due to the current crisis facing the media industry or a desire for new opportunities. The Kenyan Media Industry has not really recovered from the strains of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Sustainability after Covid-19 has been a major issue coupled with the advent of the Digital Era. Revenues at Terrestrial Radio and Tv Stations have dwindled significantly as the Digital wave continues to spread.
In a seemingly related post, Muzikal Sheriff announced, through his social pages, the Re-introduction of Rastyle Radio.
